Next up we have one of the more natural wonders of the region, watching the sun rise over the Merzouga sand dunes. The sun seemingly rises swiftly in the morning out in the Moroccan deserts. It starts with a small flash of pre-dawn green, highlighting the ridges of the sand dunes, followed by a lightening of the sky as the sun rises above the horizon. As it rises it then bathes the sand dunes in vivid morning sunlight causing them to glow a fiery red.
